A 27-year-old driver from Siggiewi was injured in a traffic accident in Mdina Road, Zebbug yesterday at about 6 a.m.

The police said the accident occurred when the driver lost control of his Seat Ibiza and crashed into the central strip.

The police said the man suffered head injuries but he was not in danger of dying. He was kept in hospital.

The car was extensively damaged.
