Malcolm Mifsud, the 33-year-old traffic police seargent from Birkirkara who was grieviously injured in a traffic accident in Floriana on Thursday is now in a stable condition, the police said.

PS Mifsud was seriously injured when his motorcycle skidded and crashed into an electricity pole on the Valletta ring road near the Excelsior Hotel.
