Two kindergarten assistants at St Thomas More College's Żejtun Primary A, Mildred Atanasio and Stephanie Ghigo, recently visited Moneystown National School Co. Wicklow and Roundwood National School in Ireland.

The visit formed part of a Comenius project the school has been taking part in for the past two years that is mainly aimed at creating innovative design and technological teaching and learning techniques for European primary schools.

During the visit, Ms Atanasio and Ms Ghigo, together with teachers from the Czech Republic, Finland, Holland, and Spain, shared their experiences of working with different technique boxes and watched children at the host school working with such boxes.

The experience has inspired the kindergarten assistants to prepare other technique boxes for the children at the Żejtun primary.
