Inquiry findings still under wraps

Opposition education spokesman Carmelo Abela yesterday again urged the government to publish the findings of the magisterial inquiry into the Foundation for Tomorrow's Schools.

He said the inquiry was completed two months ago but its outcome remained under wraps.

In contrast, the findings of an inquiry into the deportation of Eritrean immigrants, which was favourable to the government, had been published promptly, Mr Abela said in parliament during an adjournment speech.
