Substitute Mario Balotelli scored a fluke goal moments after coming on to give Serie A leaders Inter a 2-1 win at Bologna today.

Jose Mourinho's side extended their lead to 12 points ahead of second-placed Juventus, who were visiting Palermo later.

Forward Balotelli, out of favour with Mourinho for much of the season, whipped in a free kick in the 82nd minute which evaded everyone in the box and nestled in the corner.

Inter went ahead through midfielder Esteban Cambiasso on 57 minutes but Miguel Britos equalised with his first league goal for struggling Bologna when he headed in a corner.
