International appointments for Maltese referees

Newly-appointed FIFA referee Adrian D. Casha will experience his international baptism in a UEFa Under-17 Championship second round mini-tournament being held in Belgium between Monday and Friday.

Italy, Germany, Azerbaijan and hosts Belgium, are the participating nations in this tournament.

Casha and assistant referee Joe Rapa will officiate the following matches - Belgium vs Azerbaijan and Italy vs Azerbaijan.

Casha will be the fourth official in the opening match between Belgium and Italy.

On April 1, a quartet of Maltese officials, headed by FIFA referee Joe Attard, will be travelling to Albania to control the UEFA Under-21 Championship match between Albania and Ireland.

James Vella Clark and Konrad G. Borg have been appointed as assistant referees for the U-21 match in Albania while Lorry Sammut will act as fourth official.
