If underwater documentaries fire your imagination about what lies beneath the surface of the ocean, then the third in the Dinja Ohra series which starts on Super One TV tonight at 8.30 will definitely keep you watching.

The six-part series will be broadcast on Mondays at 8.30 p.m. with a repetition the following Sunday at 11.15 a.m.

Each of the documentaries runs for approximately 47 minutes and is in Maltese. The series is a coproduction between Deep 5 Underwater Productions and Super One TV.

Dinja Ohra III called "Down into deeper waters" was produced by professional deep sea diver Emi Farrugia and the team of Deep 5 divers, who had also produced the previous two series.

The first in the Dinja Ohra series won a Malta Broadcasting Authority Award for 1999 and the second series, called "Getting the objective", netted the 2001 MBA award for the best documentary.

While most of the filming was made in the marine environment around the Maltese islands, other footage was filmed off Lampedusa, off Kelibia in Tunisia and the Costa Brava in Spain.

Post-production of the series was entrusted to Super One TV.

It took Mr Farrugia and his team nearly two years to produce and film all the footage for this series.
