The Tumas Fenech Foundation for the Education of Journalists (FTFEG) is organising a course, Introduction to Journalism, to be held in Gozo, making it easier for Gozitans interested in the subject to take the course without the need to travel to Malta.

The course will consist of six sessions of two hours each from Monday to Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Lectures will be delivered by professional journalists or University lecturers from November 8 to 13. The themes to be tackled will be: Reporting, Writing, Editing, Interviewing Techniques, News Analysis and Newsroom Management.

The course is aimed at those who are already engaged in journalism, others who wish to start a journalistic career or those in charge of public relations or information services of institutions, such as local councils, community radio stations and others.
