Irish culture takes over Siġġiewi to celebrate Ireland's EU presidency
Summer party during the Siġġiewi feast at Marilù's
The Irish Business Network has supported Irish professionals and entrepreneurs in Malta by creating a welcoming network where members can connect, collaborate and thrive, beyond business.
IBN celebrates the strong friendship between Ireland and Malta, encouraging members to embrace the island’s rich culture, welcoming people, and unique way of life, and recognising that strong community connections are key to both personal and professional success.
As the association enters this exciting new chapter, it is even better positioned to grow its impact, support its members, and strengthen ties between the Irish and Maltese communities.
There are more than 430 companies with Irish ownership or direct Irish corporate ties registered in Malta. These businesses primarily operate in the following key sectors: financial services, iGaming and aviation, including Ryanair and its Maltese subsidiary, Malta Air.
"Ireland now assumes the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. At IBN, we celebrate Ireland's unique cultural identity and also the cultural connections that unite us across Europe, reflecting the motto 'Ní neart go cur le chéile' (‘Strength with unity’)," said Patrick O'Brien, adviser to IBN.
"Recently, IBN members were delighted to celebrate their summer party during the Siġġiewi feast at Marilù's."
