Chart-topper Jason Derulo promised a very high energy show with some of the best dancers and best musician during the Isle of MTV concert tonight, the ninth to be held in Malta.

He had planned to wear a thermal outfit, believing the concert was to be in a closed air-conditioned building.

Now, he will only be wearing his planned costume for a brief period because of the heat.

Asked how he liked his women, he said he liked them confidence, with a sense of humour and willing to share food.

Jamaican Omi had never heard about Malta before being invited to take part in the concert. And to make sure that people stuck around throughout his part of the concert he said he would be leaving his hit song Cheerleader for last.
