The vessel, under the command of Capitano di Fregata Legrottaglie Santo Giacomo, will be berthed at Pinto Wharf. The Italian vessel, which has 59 men on board, is 99 metres long and 13 metres wide.

She was built at the De Poli Pellestrina shipyard in Venice in 1994, to supply water to small islands and coastal sites.
