For the first time since its inception three years ago, the Yamato Dojo's Aikido (www.aikidomalta.net) annual seminar has been included on the events calendar of one of Italy's leading Aikido organisations - the Federazione Aiko, based in Rome.

The seminar, between March 18 and 20, will be conducted by Italian Sensei Renato Tamburelli and Federazione Aiko members will attend.

"This is a very positive development for the club," Sensei Kevin Bonanno, Yamato Dojo's instructor, said.

"It is a strong endorsement of the club's progress in the last three years."

The three-day seminar will include training sessions for junior and senior members of the Yamato club.

Sensei Tamburelli will also be available to introduce newcomers to the sport in a separate session during the seminar.

This will be the fourth time for the Italian Master to take part in the Yamato Dojo seminar.
