Twelve lecturers from the Institute for Tourism Studies have taken part in staff development programmes overseas.

The lecturers visited colleges and institutes with similar operations to the ITS, including Dublin Institute of Technology, Telford College, Edinburgh, the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management, Lucerne and the University of Reading.

The two-week programmes are designed to keep participants abreast of the needs identified during the scholastic year and to focus on lecturers' career development.
