A 24-year-old man has been jailed for 10 months for trying to steal over Lm100 worth of items from the Catholic Institute in Floriana almost four years ago.

Frankie Pace of Senglea pleaded guilty to trying to steal the items on May 11, 2000 at about 4.30 p.m.

Police Inspector Ramon Mercieca prosecuted.
