A 27-year-old man was yesterday jailed for six months and fined Lm200 for offering drugs for sale five years ago.

After evaluating the evidence Magistrate Lawrence Quintano found Omar Cassar, of Bugibba, guilty of offering LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) for sale on and before July 1998.

Superintendent Neil Harrison prosecuted.
