A Luqa man was yesterday jailed for a year and fined Lm200 for breaching the conditions of a probation order.

Christopher Joseph Xuereb, 22, was originally put on probation for two years for heroin possession on September 25, 2001.

But the probation order was revoked after Xuereb failed to abide by its conditions.
