Training and providing one-to-one guidance sessions will be the hallmarks of the ninth annual Best Business Plan Competition organised by Junior Chamber International Malta. Supported by HSBC Bank Malta plc and KPMG, the competition is open to individuals, aged between 18 and 40, who want to develop their business ideas, either as an individual or as a group of up to four persons.
As part of the BBP programme, a number of training sessions will be held by leading experts from various industries, and participants may avail themselves from a number of one-to-one guidance sessions to be provided by leading audit firm KPMG.
Business plans will need to clearly demonstrate such qualities as the anticipated benefit to the local community, innovation, and a clear vision of the proposed project's execution plan.
Applications and business plan proposals are to be submitted by next Wednesday.
Further information and the competition application form may be obtained by visiting the JCI Malta website at www.jci.org.mt, or by contacting Hermione Portelli on hermione.portelli@jci.org.mt or on 9982 6960.
Final business plans are to be submitted by September, after which a panel of expert judges will be selecting the winning plan.
JCI Malta is part of Junior Chamber International, a worldwide community of nearly 200,000 young active citizens in over 115 countries. Its mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.
