Joe Mifsud recently launched his new book entitled Betleħem: Fil-qtiegħ il-qalb it-tama at St Joseph Band Club in Għajnsielem.

The book, which is illustrated, focuses on his personal experiences as Middle East observer and gives insight into the current conflicts and affairs.

An exhibition showing photos featured in the book was also set up.

Dr Mifsud chose to launch his book in Għajnsielem due to his close connection with the village and the nativity scene set up there for the festive season.

The exhibition will remain open until Friday between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.
