Nationalist Party general secretary Joe Saliba yesterday sued Super One Television for libel.

Saliba filed his suit in the Magistrates' Court against editor Gino Cauchi over a news item broadcast on the May 16 and 17 editions of the news.

Saliba said the TV station claimed he had said that the government should sack all the Labour Party supporters who worked with the government.
