Yet another Formula 1 car is on our island. This time, it's a 2000 F1 Jordan, which was actually raced. This was first shown to the public late last month at Flamingo's Tool Centre in Qormi, where a full selection of Beta Tools, who sponsor the Jordan team, was on display.

The F1 car was brought to Malta thanks to the efforts of the local agent. Both Jarno Trulli and Heinz-Harald Frenzen have raced in this car.

Last weekend, it took pride of place on the Flamingo stand at the Machinery and Tools Fair in Naxxar.

This weekend, it was moved to that icon of Formula 1 in Malta, Grand Prix Inc. at the Baystreet Complex in St George's Bay. Flamingo Tool Centre are offering the chance for two to witness a grand prix race within the 2004 season, organised by premier F1 tour operators in Malta, Britannia Services. Flamingo Tool Centre together with Grand Prix Inc. will also be offering special offers during the car's visit in Malta. Sport Minister Jesmond Mugliett and Labour MP Carmelo Abela, both keen F1 followers, were present when the car was first put on display at the Beta Tools showroom in Qormi last month.
