Chiara would have done better in the Eurovision Song Contest if televoting had been eliminated - placing 13th instead of 22nd.

This year the European Broadcasting Union introduced juries in all the 42 countries taking part after an absence of 12 years, giving them a 50 per cent stake in choosing a winner. Norway's Alexander Rybak was deemed the winner by both television viewers and the juries, earning a record 387 points in the contest's 54-year history.

If only the juries had voted, Iceland would have still placed second, but the UK would have come in third, instead of Azerbaijan (who would have only secured eighth place), followed by France and Estonia.

The juries gave What If We a total of 87 points as opposed to the mere 31 she actually received in the final.
