Karen Gerada case

When I came across Mrs Gerada's letter last Sunday, I felt as if I had been hit by lightning. At that moment all other letters and articles on local and EU politics seemed irrelevant and without sense, after reading such a courageous letter.

My advice to Mrs Gerada is that although Karen should never be forgotten, life must go on. People like Mrs Gerada can give a lot to help others, as she actually did by writing a simple letter. As Mrs Gerada requested in her letter, I will remember this family in my prayers.
