The owners of the karozzini and Valletta local council are in dispute on the introduction of bags for horses.

What hit me most on the TV news, and what was evident, was the poor horses scorching themselves in the hot sun, which seemed trivial for all concerned compared to the bag!

It seems that for the Valletta mayor, the bag is very im-portant but the shelter not. Why doesn't he impose that as well?

And what about the owners of these horses - joining the union because of the bag? It is pathetic to say the least.

Why did they not do that when there was such an outcry about the lack of shelter for these poor animals? They should be ashamed.

Only the public complains, it seems. Do they respect these animals or not? This also goes to other cab owners around the island.
