Kavallieri achieved a breathtaking win against Aloysians to join La Salle at the top. They started off well, taking the lead in the early minutes but Aloysians were always in the match and never let their opponents gain the upperhand.

However, as Aloysians struggled to reduce the deficit, it was Kavallieri, inspired by Natasha Papric, who extended their lead to three goals at half-time (11-8).

The second half produced plenty excitement. Aloysians came storming back into the game as Brenda Camilleri and Mathilde Friggieri warmed to the task with some well-taken goals.

Aloysians kept up the pressure but player-of-the-match Papric was unstoppable on the day. She led Kavallieri to victory with her powerful shots and endless runs on court. Kavallieri are joint leaders with La Salle but Aloysians have now dropped out of contention.

In a tense match, La Salle A maintained their perfect record in the championship. Not for the first time this season, the best players were Philip Mifsud, for Aloysians, and La Salle's Ian Turban.

After a balanced opening half, La Salle quickly showed their intentions to win the game with a 5-1 scoring run in the opening minutes after the break.

Aloysians made a reaction but a red card incurred by Andrew Meli left them with limited playing options for the remainder of the match.

Strengthened by their numerical advantage, La Salle never looked back and with winger Victor Spiteri in fine form, the team stayed in front to retain the title for a fourth consecutive year.

Kavallieri and La Salle B shared the spoils in a thrilling match.

La Salle always had to chase their opponents for whom Daniel Tabone was on fire as he scored impressive goals from the wing as well as earning penalties for his team.

La Salle were four goals behind as the second half got underway but soon settled down to cut Kavallieri's leeway.

With two minutes left, Alessandro Zerafa put La Salle in front. But 30 seconds from time, Kavallieri launched a fast break and Tabone did not miss to tie the score at 19-19.

Final standings: La Salle A 24 (champions), La Salle B 13, Aloysians 12, Kavallieri 8, Depiro 1.
