#OnTheMove winter programme, organised by SportMalta with the support of Kellogg’s, topped off its 2017-2018 programme with an end-of-year manifestation at Marsa Sports Complex.
The event kicked off with numerous participants engaged in various mini tournaments including football, athletics, handball and basketball. Participants of martial arts, yoga and fun athletics sessions displayed their abilities, while adult participants were involved in fitness and aerobics. BMX cyclists performed their skills on the BMX track, while the very young, accompanied by parents, enjoyed games, gymnastics and dance.
Clifton Grima, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Sports and Voluntary Organisations, accompanied by SportMalta CEO Mark Cutajar, met the participants.
Kellogg’s representative Stefan Cassar presented the Kellogg’s sponsorship to SportMalta chairman Luciano Busuttil. This was the 18th consecutive year that Kellogg’s sponsored #OnTheMove, formerly known as Skolasport.
“By sponsoring this commendable #OnTheMove programme – a long-term investment - Kellogg’s emphasises the need for more physical activity and a healthier lifestyle among Maltese children and youths,” said Mr Cassar.
Three children won the prizes – a mountain bike and two blue-tooth speakers offered by Kellogg’s.
