Knights College and 3C Malta deliver on-site health checks for MBA students
Initiative aimed at enhancing students’ wellbeing
Knights College has partnered with health provider 3C Malta to offer complimentary on-site health checks to Masters students and staff on the first day of the new MBA cohort.
The initiative took place on May 15 at Knights College’s campus at The Brewhouse, where both organisations are co-located, and was delivered by 3C Malta’s corporate nursing team.
The checks were designed to run seamlessly alongside the programme’s weekend intensive, bringing workplace wellbeing directly into the learning environment.
Both Knights College and 3C Malta form part of the Business Leaders ecosystem. Knights College Principal and Vice Chancellor Kristina Galea Borg said the collaboration with sister organisation 3C Malta reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting students beyond the classroom, describing the initiative as a practical expression of “executive wellbeing” during the MBA intensive.
She added that, “An MBA is an investment in your future, and so is your health.”
The health checks also complemented the structure of Knights College’s part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA), which is delivered in focused weekend sprints.
The format is designed to support working professionals by allowing them to attend sessions without extending already demanding weekdays, helping students arrive engaged and focused rather than being fatigued after work.
For many adult learners, including working parents, returning to education is often less about a dramatic change and more about steady progression: strengthening leadership capacity, improving skills, and building long-term security for their families.
Knights College said designing programmes around these realities is an institutional priority, with a continued focus on academically rigorous, industry-relevant education that works alongside professional and family life.
Knights College is Malta’s leading, internationally harmonised, private higher education institution, offering courses from tertiary level through to doctorate degrees.
Delivered over 18 months, the MBA combines academically rigorous content with a work-based learning (WBL) approach: intensive weekend bootcamps followed by immediate workplace execution.
This format supports busy professionals by turning real organisational challenges into learning opportunities and measurable outcomes. The programme is endorsed by Coventry University.
