Due to an outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the Republic of Korea, imports of susceptible animals and their products are banned, the director general of the Food and Veterinary Division said.

The ban covers fresh meat, meat products, meat preparations, milk and milk products.

The introduction of these foodstuffs into Malta from Korea by passengers or through small personal consignments is not permitted.
