Land reclamation

I am very happy to read that two quarries have been converted to agricultural use, but if the total construction waste in the last nine months amounted to 1.6 million tons, I am sure that the quarries we have will soon be filled and alternative sites...

I am very happy to read that two quarries have been converted to agricultural use, but if the total construction waste in the last nine months amounted to 1.6 million tons, I am sure that the quarries we have will soon be filled and alternative sites have to be found.

Sooner or later we will have to make use of the sea, so it is high time that a plan will be taken seriously, because we need the land and we cannot build another Maghtab.

Action should be taken as soon as possible to start land reclamation from the sea, and stop boasting by filling two quarries; unless we make a start on land reclamation, there will never be a solution to disposing of construction waste.
