On April 28, 2008 I received an invitation from my daughter's school to an open day which had been held on April 22. Too late, I was so disappointed to have missed it!

When I checked the envelope I realised this invitation had been posted, in other words stamped by Maltapost, on April 16. I checked another two envelopes I had received on that same day, and these were also stamped 16th and 19th!

I was so upset to have missed such an event, all due to Malta- post hoarding my letters for 12 days.

How is it possible that it takes 12 days for Maltapost to distribute mail on our small island? What has Maltapost to say about this?
