Leadership in action

People & CO are holding a six-day highly interact-ive, management development programme aimed at all those in leadership positions seeking further career and management development. Where possible, participants are allocated to a group that most closely matches their course entry level in terms of experience and qualifications.

The course includes presentations and workshops, which would enable participants to share exper-ience, enhance communication and acquire a thorough, solid and practical grasp of a number of management skills.

Through group exercises which are created from the examples of the service and manufacturing sectors, participants will put into practice their critical reasoning, problem-solving, conceptual thinking, strategic vs. operational orientation, and other skills. Intentionally small groups participate in negotiation role-play, active group work and self-assessment exercises. Videos and case study scenarios are used to enable participants to analyse their strengths and weaknesses and to further develop their management skills.

The programme will cover: effective leaderships skills and leadership styles, communication skills, customer care, teamwork, presentation skills, time and stress management, a management personality assessment as well as outward (outdoor) bound activities.
