Learning experience

Thanks to the Grundtvig 3 programme of grants for adult education training activities, I was able to go to a conference entitled Politics From Below - Living Democracy, which was held in Sonnenberg, Germany, between December 28 and January 4.

The conference was mainly about globalisation and social movements across European countries. I was able to learn first-hand about forms of government of devolution to citizens' organisations like NGOs and other organisations.

As a lecturer at the G.F. Abela Junior College, I was able to disseminate the knowledge gained from the multi-cultural environment during tutorials.

I wish to thank heartily the EUPU national agency for giving me the opportunity to realise this fulfilling experience and I recommend it to others.
