Hundreds of people, mostly young, filled St George's Square in Valletta this morning, to join in a massive dance to the tune of Kurt Calleja's This is the night.

Kurt is this year representing Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The idea behind this morning's dance was for the public to express their support while learning the dance the Maltese team will perform on the big night.

Kurt Calleja will perform in the second semi-final on May 24.

The Malta Eurovision events are organised by PBS.
