We were recently regaled with the news that Eddie Fenech Adami had libelled Alfred Sant on public television on the eve of the EU referendum and was ordered to pay Lm2,000 damages by the Magistrates' Court.

I've heard that the only way out for him now is to tender his resignation. But, of course, one must be living in cuckooland to hope for that much!
