The deputy leader of the Malta Labour Party, Charles Mangion, and former Tourism Minister Karmenu Vella yesterday filed a libel case against Nationalist candidate Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando over allegations he made on Saturday about false tax declarations by a company co-owned by them.

Dr Mangion and Mr Vella have asked the court to hear the case with urgency in view of Saturday's election.
