Joseph R. Darmanin yesterday filed two writs for libel damages in the Magistrates` Court against Felix Agius, editor of the newspaper KullHadd and against Gino Cauchi and Maria Muscat on behalf of Super One TV.

Darmanin felt libelled by two articles published in KullHadd on March 3 and April 28 under the headings "Ta` Vjenna favoriti li jiehdu l-ajruport" (Vienna favoured bidders for the airport) and "Konferma" (Confirmed).

He also felt libelled by allegations made in his regard in the news bulletins on Super One TV on March 3.

Darmanin asked the Magistrates` Court to condemn defendants to pay him libel damages in terms of the Press Act.
