The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and the Faculty of Science are jointly organising a research seminar programme. The seminars, which are presented by experts in the field, are aimed to foster sharing of information and establish a platform for local and international academic collaboration within the life science research community of the University.
The structure of these seminars consists of a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15- minute discussion. The content may consist of specific research data and results presentation, or may take the form of a particular life-science related research methodology discussion.
All Master's and doctoral students reading for life-science related degrees are invited to attend these fora, since these seminars expose them to different research approaches and techniques, and provide a path through which they can integrate better with other research teams, and with the general research environment at the University.
