Lines of communication

Recently I had a problem with one of the water pipes at home. I tried to contact the water works department Mdina office on tel. 21454521 but I had no reply.

I contacted Rabat local council personally and asked them whether the Mdina WWD telephone number was correct as I had phoned several times with nobody answering the phone. The girl behind the desk told me it would be better to walk to Mdina and go to their office myself. So I did.

I waited for more than an hour as the office was closed. Luckily enough just as I was about to leave I could see a man opening the office. I approached him and asked him to help me with my problem. He told me that I have to go to Ta' Qali and talk to his foreman as they had moved from that office (Mdina Greek Gate) more than two weeks ago.

And there I was waiting for nothing!

Please train the local council people to give the Rabat people accurate information - send them on a communication course...
