I agree with Trevor Zahra (Weekender, December 30) that the series of Maltese books called Id-Denfil became obsolete and antiquated many years ago.

In 2002 De La Salle College came out with the bright idea of publishing a new series altogether called Gojjin Iehor, thus replacing an older series called Il-Gojjin which in the past had proved very popular.

Other schools are encouraged to use this new series of children's literature by contacting Charles Zerafa on 9924 3137.
