Some 20 live birds of prey have been found at a garage in Triq iz-Zinzell, Qormi by the police.

Police believe the birds were imported illegally, however, all the necessary checks are still being carried out by the Administrative Law Enforcement.

An inquiry is being held by Magistrate Neville Camilleri.
