Liverpool's Jerzy Dudek, Dietmar Hamann and Harry Kewell should be fit for tomorrow's Champions League match against Bayern Leverkusen, coach Rafael Benitez said.
Goalkeeper Dudek and midfielders Hamann and Kewell picked up injuries in the League Cup final defeat by Chelsea but are ready to return as the English side try to protect their 3-1 lead from the first leg of the knockout round tie.
"We knew they needed rest to recover but the problem that gave us was they were all missing the Newcastle game," Benitez told the club's website.
Injuries forced Benitez into changes for Saturday's Premier League match at Newcastle United, which they lost 1-0.
"We had a lot of injuries... we decided to change the formation so we were stronger in defence, and I think we controlled their attack well," Benitez said.
"In the Champions League game against Leverkusen, if we defend well then we will go through. But we will still be going forward and trying to score, because an away goal would be important."
Defender Djimi Traore is ruled out with a thigh strain and Spanish striker Fernando Morientes is ineligible.
