A man injured while at work was awarded Lm3,300 damages by Mr Justice Geoffrey Valenzia in the First Hall of the Civil Court.

Anthony Zammit had sued Mediterranean Oilfield Services Company Limited (Medserv Ltd). He claimed he was injured while working at Manoel Island in June 1997 for the company.

After concluding that Zammit had sustained a 10 per cent permanent disability to his leg, the court awarded him Lm3,300 damages.
