Lm49 flights to London

Very frequently, an advert appears in most newspapers, including yours, offering bargain flights to London at Lm49 return. There are eight flights weekly to Gatwick, and this agency has offices in Valletta, Sliema and Qawra.

Therefore last Monday I went to their Valletta office at the Embassy Complex to make further enquiries. I was told by the young lady that flights at that price to London do not exist. Their London flights start at Lm116. When I informed her of their adverts, which are appearing almost daily in most newspapers, she told me that the Lm49 offer was stopped several months ago and that she does not know if it will be introduced again.

When I asked to have a word with the company owner, I was informed that Mr Roby Borg is never available. When I insisted to speak to someone responsible, I was given the number of Mike Smith at Qawra. He too was unavailable, and all I could do was to contact him on his mobile, which I did. I was told to leave a message and he would contact me himself. A week has gone by and I am still completely ignored.

Actually, while I was at the Valletta office, there were other people making the same enquiry as myself, and I am sure some of them were caught hook, line and sinker. Could someone inform me why these things are allowed to happen?
