I read with interest the letter submitted by Cassandra Smith entitled Refreshing Malta (November 25).

As the pub mentioned in her letter happens to be my local, I would like to add a few more comments.

It would have been very appropriate if Ms Smith had nominated the staff of City of London Bar to the Malta Tourism Authority branding campaign.

These dedicated people who serve us every day deserve much more than a letter in The Times.

Perhaps Ms Smith is still on the island and can call at the Ministry of Tourism and fill in the branding form.
