'The London Eye: A City Through a Lens', is the title of Alexandra Pace's latest photographic exhibition, being held at Juuls cafe' bar in St Julian's.

Alexandra has come up with an original concept for the exhibition - a collection of black and white photographs to create an excellent setting for the stark yet soft images of the London Underground.

The exhibition is a mix of faces and places, a glimpse of a throbbing life underneath the city streets.

Alexandra started her photography career in 1994, turning fully professional in 1998. Most of her work is commercial.

"The one thing that fascinates me about the London Underground is the stark contrast between the people that use it: one besuited man reading The Financial Times sitting next to a Rasta reading Mojo. The result is a mixture of textures and travellers," she said.

The exhibition is open to the public and will run until September 30.
