British Airways will be introducing a second extra service on the London-Malta route as from next month.

A spokesman for British Airways said this extra service was being introduced because the demand and enquiries from prospective travellers from London to Malta was on the increase.

The extra weekly service is being laid on Friday covering the period July 4 till September 26.

The service will be operated by an A320 aircraft, bringing British Airways' operation to 11 weekly services during the peak months of summer.
