My name is Diane Snelgrove. I am the granddaughter of Mr andMrs Hatcher and we live in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.

We will be visiting your wonderful island this summer on September 25 for two weeks and we are desperate to try and trace any relatives who may still be living in Malta and whom we have never met nor had any contact with, but would love to.

My mother's cousin, Don Hatcher, was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire about 1921. He was brought up by my grandparents.

He later joined the Royal Navy along with my uncle and served in Malta and was stationed at St Paul's Bay.

We know he met and married a lovely girl called Josephine Barbara who was born in Senglea.

They were married in the parish church of Balzan on November 4, 1943 (we were lucky enough to be able to see a copy of the marriage certificate). We know that, unfortunately, Don has now passed away.

This is about all the information I have, except we think there are children and maybe grandchildren.

My grandparents have sadly passed away now and the information I need is not at hand anymore.

I deeply regret never to have tried to contact relatives before.

My mother and her remaining brother and sister would dearly love to know if Don has any remaining descendants still living in Malta.

I would be delighted to be able to meet with any relative that would like to meet with my partner and myself when we visit in September.
