Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo could miss the final pre-season test before the start of the MotoGP season with a hand injury, the Spaniard's press agent said.

"At the moment, there are serious doubts as to whether Jorge will be fully recovered for the Qatar test. We must wait and see how his injury and rehabilitation go," Hector Martin told the official MotoGP website.

Last year's runner-up had surgery on his right hand after a motocross training accident last week and has already been ruled out of Sepang testing next week. The third and final test session is in Qatar on March 18-19. Racing starts on April 11.
