Lost cheques

I have been reading the correspondence in this medium regarding lost parcels.

I have similarly experienced losses in the mail - three instances in recent months. All three where post-paid envelopes, posted in Rabat, and the three of them contained cheques. Two were addressed to Maltacom and another to the Inland Revenue Department.

I have complained to Maltapost customer care who have said they could not do anything about it.

I hate to come to any conclusion, but unfortunately the conclusion is obvious - someone must be looking for cash and destroys the rest.
