Lucky escape as vehicle plunges two storeys

A 20-year-old woman from Birzebbugia had a lucky escape last night when her Pajero four-wheel drive vehicle crashed down a height of almost two storeys. The police said the incident happened at Triq Ghar Dalam, Bir id-Deheb, Zejtun at about 2 a.m.

A 20-year-old woman from Birzebbugia had a lucky escape last night when her Pajero four-wheel drive vehicle crashed down a height of almost two storeys.

The police said the incident happened at Triq Ghar Dalam, Bir id-Deheb, Zejtun at about 2 a.m.

The woman was assisted by members of the Civil Protection Department who got her out of the vehicle and hoisted her to the road.

She was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital in an ambulance. Her injuries were found not to be serious.Police investigations are under way.
