Luxol had the better of Naxxar to go second and Hibs continued their recovery with a victory over Loyola Xuereb Installations.
Kerygma won their match against SN Suns to leave the latter still searching for their first victory.
Hibs imposed their superiority over Loyola as the 76-39 scoreline clearly indicates.
A slow start by Hibs was exploited by Loyola who potted the first six points but after they obtained their first basket, Hibs improved to dominate the second session, changing ends with a clear 21-point lead, 38-17.
Hibs controlled Loyola's reaction in the third quarter and regained the upperhand in the last ten minutes to extend their winning margin.
Luxol took advantage of Loyola's defeat to move into second place after attaining their fourth victory against Naxxar.
Luxol enjoyed a positive start as they potted the first 11 points of the game.
Naxxar regrouped to close the gap to 15-8 but Luxol came back at them to lead 30-18 at half-time. They went on to claim a 64-33 victory.
Kerygma bagged their first victory at the expense of SN Suns who are still winless.
Kerygma's success on Sunday was never in doubt. An 8-0 scoring run in the opening stages set Kerygma on their way to victory - 60-27.
